Country Music Done Different by Australia's Most Promising Future Star

Laura Frank is Tamworth Country Music Festival's, 'Most Promising Future Star' and she is carving her own path as an artist in the Country music scene. Bold and enigmatic, her songs are the epitome of true story telling. Frank is a force to be reckoned with as she combines edgy, gritty lyrics into a solid pop-rock production.
Born and raised in regional South East Queensland, Laura is known for bringing both sassy country rock and sentimental ballads to the stage. A strong live performer, Frank captivates audiences with her energy and ability to take listeners on wild ride; evoking both an array of emotions and providing an escape from the present moment.
Drawing inspiration from a strong line of dynamic powerhouse performers such as Brandi Carlile, P!nk, Lady Gaga and Jason Isbell. ARIA and Golden Guitar winner, Jordan Power, has been the cornerstone producer behind Laura’s releases.
Frank has performed alongside big names like Daryl Braithwaite, James Blundell, Brad Cox, Brad Butcher, Jeremy Marou (Busby Marou) and Melanie Dyer. She has also rocked stages at Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, BIGSOUND and more.
Spending most of 2024 on a 65 date tour of Regional Australia with Golden Guitar winner, Tom Curtain, she is no stranger to life on the road and the epitome of grass roots music. In 2025 she will again join Tom Curtain on a 60+ date tour encompassing much of the country, commencing in Mitchell, QLD in October 24 and finishing in April 25 with the final show in Darwin, Northern Territory.
When she’s not on stage or in the studio, Laura has been building her own house in regional SEQ, producing music and food festival events in the Scenic Rim or running songwriting workshops for Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. She is also the co-founder of digital production house, Orange Schmorange and has worked on Photography, Videography and Content Creation for a number of organisations and Councils in South East QLD.
