LAURA FRANK
COUNTRY MUSIC DONE DIFFERENT
TAMWORTH'S MOST PROMISING FUTURE STAR | AIR #1 | DEBUT ALBUM COMING 2026
Laura Frank is a force of nature in Australian country music — bold, gritty, and impossible to ignore. Tamworth Country Music Festival's Most Promising Future Star, she's an artist who bends the rules of the genre and makes it sound inevitable.
Born and raised in regional South East Queensland, Laura writes songs that cut deep — edgy, honest storytelling wrapped in a solid pop-rock production. Drawing from powerhouse influences like Brandi Carlile, P!nk, Lady Gaga and Jason Isbell, she's built a sound that's distinctly her own: part sassy country rock, part gut-punch ballad, all heart.
Her single God Knows I Know debuted at #1 on the AIR Charts, and she was named a finalist in the prestigious Environmental Music Prize. ARIA and Golden Guitar winner Jordan Power has been the cornerstone producer behind her releases, and her debut album is on the horizon — the culmination of a string of bold new singles that have been turning heads across the country.
FRANK is no stranger to the road. She completed two back-to-back national tours with Golden Guitar winner Tom Curtain, a combined 130+ dates across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA and the NT — and is already planning her next run. She's shared stages with Daryl Braithwaite, James Blundell, Brad Cox, Jeremy Marou (Busby Marou) and Melanie Dyer, and rocked crowds at Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater Country Music Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Deni Ute Muster, BIGSOUND and more.
Off stage, Laura is a co-founder of digital production house Orange Schmorange, a producer of music festivals in the Scenic Rim, and has run songwriting workshops for Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. She's also been building her own house in regional SEQ — because of course she has.
